Protestor blows her top during Marine Le Pen speech

The far-right French presidential candidate was interrupted during a foreign policy speech on Friday by a topless woman chanting “Marine Feminist Fictive” — apparently meaning Le Pen is a phony feminist.

“Nothing in Marine Le Pen’s program promotes the emancipation of women,” the Femen activist shouted.

This is dead wrong, since Le Pen is one of the few politicians running for president who defends women’s rights, saying they are being violated by France’s Muslim community.

Three bare-breasted women making Nazi salutes disrupted a May Day speech by Le Pen when she accused her political rivals of not taking a tougher stand on open-border immigration and radical Islam.

The Femen activists, with “Heil Le Pen” and “Stop Fascism” written on their breasts, ranted against Le Pen’s National Front party from the balcony of a hotel room to the crowd below.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way—in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only. — Charles Dickens, ‘A Tale of Two Cities’
