Knife-wielding maniac gunned down after killing policeman on the Parliament grounds

The three teenage school children were on a trip from France and were walking across Westminster Bridge when they were hit by the speeding four-wheel-drive car that had jumped the curb at at 50 miles an hour.

After running down pedestrians, the terrorist crashed the vehicle into the railings outside the Parliament building, jumped out and ran onto the grounds where he stabbed a police officer to death.

The attacker, said to be ‘a middle-aged Asian,’ was then shot by armed officers at the scene.

Parliament was put on lockdown and Prime Minister Theresa May, who was in the building at the time, was rushed from the scene in an unmarked police car.

Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, reacted to today’s attack by referring to a comment made by London Mayor Sadiq Khan last September that terror attacks are “part and parcel of living in a big city.”

“You have to be kidding me,” Trump Jr. tweeted today.

Khan is London’s first Muslim mayor.
