Nuclear War between America and Russia
Oscar-winnning director Oliver Stone interviewed Vladimir Putin over several months for an exclusive broadcast that will premiere on Showtime TV on Sunday.
In answer to Stone’s question whether the U.S. would be “dominant” in the event of a “hot war” between the two nuclear powers, Putin said: “I don’t think anyone would survive such a conflict.”
ON NATO: Countries that join NATO become “vassals” of the Americans, said Putin.
“Once a country becomes a NATO member it is hard to resist the pressures of the U.S. And all of a sudden any weapons system can be placed in this country. An anti-ballistic missile system, new military bases and if need be, new offensive systems.”
Russia’s actions are merely a response to what it sees as a more menacing threat from a NATO that is expanding toward its border, ” he said.
“We have to aim our missile systems at facilities that are threatening us. The situation becomes more tense.”
On Hillary Clinton… Nothing good…
Putin shows Stone a live feed from a Russian military jet deployed in Syria.
Stone asked Putin if there’s “any hope of change”in relations between Washington and Moscow, the president replied:
Said Putin: “There is always hope. Until they are ready to bring us to the cemetery and bury us.”
