Sunday is payback time!
Like arrogant, entitled, self-righteous Hillary Clinton branding Trump followers as deplorable homophobic xenophobes (and we know what happened to her), the arrogant, entitled self-righteous Emmanuel Macron will meet the same fate.
“It’s they who are our true enemies,” Macron said of Le Pen supporters. “You pass them in the streets, in the countryside or on the web. They are anti-France, as hateful as they are cowardly. The agents of disaster, the fearmongers.”
Flashback to America, September 2016:
“You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” then-candidate Clinton said to applause and laughter. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it.”
Macron is already in trouble, with plummeting poll numbers in the final week of campaigning before the May 7 vote, as Le Pen narrows the gap between the two candidates.
Le Pen is far more popular with young, first-time voters, who said they will vote for the populist because she — like Trump — is the non-establishment law-and-order candidate who will stop mass immigration and crack down on terrorists.
French police are also behind Le Pen, saying they will defy their unions and vote for her because she will restore law and order to the terrorism-torn streets of France.
