Fired FBI director James Comey belongs to treasonous cadre out to topple Trump
After admitting under oath that he leaked a memo on private conversations he had with President Trump, Comey has been exposed as a member of the subversive Deep State movement.
“He is the deep state in Washington,” said Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.
The “deep state” refers to a group of treacherous career employees inside the government conspiring to secretly manipulate government policy and undermine elected leaders or political appointees.
Deep State members are in the military, intelligence fields and bureaucratic agencies. They have been viciously, albeit covertly, plotting against Trump since he was elected.
Comey should be prosecuted, Lewandowski said. “He was the director of the FBI when these notes were taken and he turned them over to a law professor to ensure The New York Times got that information.”
Comey told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on Thursday that during a private meeting with Trump on Feb. 14 concerning fired security advisor Michael Flynn, the president said to him, “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”
Trump disputes that he ever asked Comey to let the Flynn investigation go.
“The president never, in form or substance, directed or suggested that Mr. Comey stop investigating anyone, including suggesting that Mr. Comey ‘let Flynn go,'” Trump’s personal lawyer Marc E Kasowitz (above) stated after Comey’s testimony on Thursday.
Comey has since handed over all memos on his meetings with Trump to the special counsel, Robert Mueller, who will oversee a investigation into potential ties between the Russian government and Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
