Ohio graduate is determined never to be an unarmed victim of gun violence.
I will never forget the Kent State massacre in May of 1970 when Ohio National Guardsmen opened fire on college students protesting the Vietnam War.
Four unarmed students were gunned down and nine others were maimed, including a student who was left paralyzed.
It was a shocking and shameful day for America and one that is engraved in the minds of people who witnessed it in person or watched the horrifying scenes on TV.
Kaitlin Bennett wasn’t even born then, but knowing the history, she is determined never to be an unarmed victim when gunfire erupts, on campus or off.
The liberal media and candy-assed Democrats went berserk when the college graduate appeared on the Kent State University campus with a semi-automatic AR-10 slung over her back.
The day after she graduated, Kaitlin, a member of right-wing group ‘Liberty Hangout’ was protesting Ohio’s gun laws.
Ohio has an open-carry gun law, but it applies only to citizens 21 years of age and older.
“Now that I’ve graduated from Kent State, I can finally arm myself on campus,” Bennett wrote on her website.
“I should have been able to do so as a student — especially since four unarmed students were shot and killed by the government on this campus.”
Don’t mess with Kaitlin. She also carries a pistol.
“As a woman, I refuse to be a victim and the Second Amendment ensures that I don’t have to be.”
And of course, she’s a strong supporter of President Trump, who has vowed never to allow Democrats and weak-minded liberals to attempt to dismantle or amend the Second Amendment and take away the Constitutional right of Americans to own and carry weapons.
