“I feel really great. I feel really great,' Presiden Trump said as he sat down for his first meeting with Kim Jong-un. 'We’re going to have a great discussion, and I think a tremendous success. It’s an honor, and we will have a terrific relationship, I have no doubt.'
The U.S. and North Korean leaders arrived in Singapore on Sunday for the historic Trump-Kim summit. It is the first time a sitting U.S. president has ever met with a North Korean leader.
“I am on a mission of peace and we're going to be carrying the hearts of millions of people from all over the world,” said President Trump about his Tuesday summit with Kim Jong-un.
When asked how long it would take for him to decide if Kim was serious about a denuclearized peace deal, Trump said: "I think within the first minute I'll know. And if I think it won't happen, I'm not going to waste my time.”
