The latest map has Irma moving out of Cuba on Saturday and heading for Florida on Sunday as a Category 4 hurricane, one notch down from the maximum Cat 5.
Miami was bracing for a direct hit, but now Irma is expected to roar up Florida’s west coast and come crashing down near Tampa on Monday. But Storm surges, torrential rain, flooding and destructive winds will be a life and death nightmare for 20 million Florida residents, from Key West to Pensacola.
