Trump’s war against the mainstream media got serious over the weekend when his close advisor said the administration is in a determined battle with the “Fake News Industrial Complex.”

Dr. Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to the president, went on several TV programs and took a strategic step in the Trump-media war by defining the enemy.

CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, et alia, disgorge and publish fake news designed to sabotage the Trump presidency on a 24/7 basis.

Unknown-2In January, White House chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon slammed the media as the “opposition party.”

Bannon derided a bunch of reporters who were lined up near the White House by remarking: “The opposition party, all lined up.”

Trump took it a step further the following month by calling the fake news media the “enemy of the American people.”

He tweeted: The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!

Trump’s supporters hate the mainstream media as much as he does, which puts him in a good position to win the war.

As NBC political director Chuck Todd, a bleak and pessimistic Trump critic, admitted, Trump supporters still make up the “biggest faction” in today’s polarized society.

Trump’s supporters are “sticking by him,” he said, “and Trump’s base is still “bigger than any other faction” in politics today.
